Fall Camporee--October 10-12

Canupa Chapter will be hosting the Fall Camporee at Camp Meisenbach. The theme is Medieval Times. There will be a Brotherhood Ceremony. If you are eligible for Brotherhood, PLEASE be there! If you would like to staff the event, please let Fred know at the next chapter meeting in October.

Fall Fellowship @ James Ray---September 5-7

Fall Fellowship was THE BEST!! The food was unbelievable. Mr. Johnson outdid himself on the ribs! Everyone participated in the various events, such as dodge ball, football, ping pong, swimming, and various eating contests. The lodge elections took a really, really long time followed by the Vigil Ceremony. All in all, it was a great weekend!!

Council Wide Callout/Ordeal: August 15-17

Wow!! If you missed the Council Wide Callout/Ordeal at Camp Wisdom, you really missed a good time! The Bistro Youth Staff was AWESOME! Of course, they were ALL from Canupa. Sam, Andrew, Jacob, Fred, and Michael baked some great cakes and made some very tasty cream cheese frosting. We now have new Ordeal Members, as shown in the picture in this post.

Canupa @ the Work Day

Hey, Canupa guys!! Mr. J. and I just got back from vacation. We had fun sitting around making regalia! Mr. J. finished two breastplates and I made a bandelier!! You will see them on Thursday night at our first Chapter Meeting for the new school year. I know that you are all excited to go back to school.....not! We had a pretty good turn out at the Work Day/Yanush Chapter Ordeal. We had some members who helped tear out the inside of the staff lounge. Other Canupa members were part of the Bistro Staff. We were excited to use the new kitchen and dining hall at Cherokee, but were surprised to find very few outlets on the walls. Then we found then on the floor under the work tables. All in all, it was a great weekend of cheerful service. Enjoy the pictures!! See you on Thursday night!!

Chapter Elections @ Fall Fellowship

Hey, Canupa!!! Chapter Elections will be held at Fall Fellowship...just another reason to come to the wonderful, fabulous weekend of Fall Fellowship!! BE THERE!!!!!

Fall Fellowship @ James Ray---September 5-7

Kickin' Back On The Border is the theme for this year's Fall Fellowship at James Ray. Be there! Bring your swimsuit....we will be at the pool! Canupa Chapter's goal for attendance is a minumum of 64 youth in addition to our adults. We are district 64, so we want 64 Canupa youth members to attend!! We will have a bus departing from First Christian Church, Terrell, Texas on September 5th @ 6 pm. It will return on Sunday around noon. The cost is $10 per person and there is room for 24 people----first come, first served. Contact David Lindsey @ dlindsey80@sbcglobal.net or 214-536-9053 to make your bus reservation....don't wait till the last minute. Registration forms will be available at the August chapter meeting and at the Council Wide Callout. Also, check your email for a downloadable form.

Council Wide Callout/Ordeal: August 15-17

Hey, everybody!! We have an ordeal coming up! It will be at Camp Wisdom on August 15-17. Everyone who was called out at Spring Camporee or at summer camp and has not taken their ordeal NEEDS to take it at this event. Anyone who is Brotherhood eligible, but has not sealed their membership in the order NEEDS to do so at this event.
